On Friday, 27th March 2020, Mr. Gabby Dakudedzi, IAI project) focal person of Shai Osudoku District visited the Gbi Wegbe CHPS and Hohoe District Hospital to observe the practice of social distancing. He reports as follows:
Gbi Wegbe CHPS
Benches have been placed outside the facility to ensure that clients waiting to be attended to observe social distancing. Madam Rejoice Dali, a midwife at the facility indicated that following the increased number of COVID-19 cases, attendance at the facility has decreased to about 3 cases from an average of 10 clients on a daily basis.

At the entrance of this hospital, handwashing facilities had been provided for all clients to wash their hands. Inquiries also revealed that nurses at the OPD have been directed to ensure that clients are spaced a meter apart from each other. In an attempt to gather adequate information on measures put in place by the facility as a response to COVID-19, the focal person was introduced to the hospital administrator who declined to provide information and also refused that pictures of the facility are taken without an official letter.
